LAE — Two new state-of-the-art health clinics have been officially opened in Lae, expanding primary health-care access for residents at East Taraka and Ten Siti.
The opening was officiated by Dr Kipas Binga, Chief Executive Officer of the Morobe Provincial Health Authority (MoPHA), and attended by:
The clinics were constructed by contractor PDC and will be staffed by Lutheran Medical Personnel. The project was made possible by the continued support and funding of the Australian Government.
Speaking at the opening, the Deputy Prime Minister and community representatives asked residents to pay respect to the facilities and the staff who serve in them.
