Public Notice: LCA Reserve Police Recruitment Shortlist — 2nd Batch Reserve Constables Training
The Lae City Authority (LCA), in partnership with the Royal Papua New Guinea Constabulary (RPNGC), is pleased to announce the shortlisted applicants for the 2nd Batch Reserve Constables Training.
Congratulations to those who have progressed to the next stage of the police recruitment process.
Interview & selection details
Dates: 23rd – 27th March 2026
Time: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM daily
Venue: Northern Command Training Centre, Bumbu Police Barracks, Lae
Requirement: Please arrive at least 30 minutes early and come dressed in professional attire.
Mandatory documents to bring
You must bring the following original documents to continue with your application:
Photos: 2 × valid ID-sized identification photos
Education: Original Grade 10 & 12 Academic Certificates from a certified government institution
Career: Your most updated CV / Résumé
Identity: NID Card or Birth Certificate
References: 3 × current reference letters

Shortlisted candidates will undergo the following assessments:
Screening & validation of academic certificates
Testing
Interview
Medical check
Physical fitness test
Character reference check
Important reminders
Confirm attendance: You must confirm your attendance by replying via email or WhatsApp no later than 20th March 2026.
Eligibility: Only applicants whose names appear on the official list should attend. If your name is not listed, your application was unsuccessful.
Punctuality: Failure to attend at the scheduled date, time, and venue will result in your application being discontinued.
