Lae hosts the 50th anniversary of World Environment Day — Beat Plastic Pollution
Lae City Authority is proud to support the Conservation and Environment Protection Authority (CEPA) in hosting the 50th anniversary of World Environment Day 2023 in Lae, on the global theme "Beat Plastic Pollution".
This year's theme speaks directly to the challenge facing Lae and Papua New Guinea as a whole — to collectively rid our environment of plastics carelessly discarded, and to educate ourselves in proper disposal.
